GEORGIA NAACP PRESIDENT GERALD GRIGGS JOINS CALL FOR INDEPENDENT PROSECUTOR IN LE'DEN BOYKINS CASE

Le'Den Boykins was a passenger in a car driven by a neighbor who was being chased by Georgia State Patrol Troopers in Sept. 2021. Le'Den's parents want to see the state troopers and local law enforcement involved in the chase charged. The Georgia NAACP joined the West Metro NAACP in supporting the call for justice for the family of Le'Den Boykin. In a press conference, President Gerald Griggs called on Georgia AG Chris Carr to do more and appoint a special prosecutor.
